THE TRIALS
24-player last-one-standing Roblox game with server-validated combat and a headless two-match smoke harness.
- Luau (strict)
- Rojo
- luau CLI
- Bash
TL;DR
- The survival build from my parallel agent run, generated on GLM-5.3-flash and Solar Pro 4 from my brief.
- The client sends intent only; the server validates every hit.
- It ships with a headless smoke harness that scripts two full matches against a stubbed Roblox runtime.
How it works
The server validates melee with range slack and a line-of-sight raycast, and simulates bow arrows as projectiles with gravity. Loot spawns from weighted per-zone tables into a six-slot inventory, a server-side movement validator enforces sprint and crouch, and the map closes sector by sector with a fire hazard instead of a shrinking circle.
The smoke harness bundles the real source against a stub runtime and plays two matches end to end, so match logic can be tested without opening Studio.
Server-authoritative combat → cheating clients can’t claim hits → every attack pays a round trip and a raycast on the server.
Status
Archived as part of the pipeline experiment. It hasn’t been played in Studio, and a stubbed runtime can’t prove the client side starts.
